At The Luna Hive, our experts are trained to the highest level, and use a range of different evidence-based therapies, including CBT, psychodynamic, solution focused and mindfulness based cognitive therapy, helping you to explore your past, current or future concerns.
COST AND LOCATION
We have a range of locations across the UK. We offer clinic face-to-face, phone and Skype sessions. Session costs are in the region of £60-100 for a 50-minute session. We accept most insurance providers, including AXA, Bupa, Aviva, WPA, Vitality, Cigna and more.
WHAT TO EXPECT
The initial assessment is a time for us to explore the issues you want to work on, including outlining your goals. The assessment is usually 60-90 minutes, and we will gently ask you some questions about your history, current issues, factors affecting how you feel, and what you want to change going forward. It’s also a time for you to ask questions, so you are clear on how we can help you.
At the assessment, we will set up a treatment plan for you, which will include the likely number of sessions, and the focus of the treatment. If you are looking for a longer-term therapy, we can plan for this also!
Following the assessment, treatment will start, generally weekly either face-to-face, on skype or via the phone. We will spend 50 minutes, either talking about whatever it is that brings you to therapy or working on exercises and worksheets. The therapy is tailored to your needs and wants, and each session will be planned out, to suit you.
When you are ready to finish the sessions, we will work to an ending, giving you time to review what you have learnt, and set up a plan to keep you well.

Clare has an incredible way of reading through all the chaos of my feelings and figuring out the root, giving me sensible goals and has taught me the power of accepting any and all emotions as normal. That it is OK to be fed up or angry or sad but there is something that can make you feel better when you need it – your own mind! Working with Clare has given me tricks that have stopped me feeling so out of control with my family, given me direction in my career and truthfully – hope that my mind won’t always be quite so noisy.

The therapy enabled me to change unhelpful behaviours that had persisted for years, greatly reducing my levels of OCD. The changes made have held fairly strong since therapy ended. Crucially, I now have a much greater understanding of my own thought processes and beliefs and how to better navigate and manage them. Home life is much improved, I’m less tired, and things generally feel a bit easier.
